Kanazawa & Toyama Travelogue - Day 7
Recording the seventh day of the 2025 trip to Kanazawa and Toyama, Japan: returning from Kanazawa to Taiwan.
Kanazawa Station
We planned to take the "Komatsu Airport Line" to the airport. When we first arrived in Kanazawa, we saw a stop sign at Korinbo, but there was only one bus before 6 AM. We finally decided to take the 8:50 busāif it was too crowded and we couldn't get on, the next one would still barely make it in time for our flight. The two of us, nervously overthinking things, walked to the station around 8 AM, only to find no one in line and very few pedestrians on the streets. So Bobo stayed at the station while Nana went to find bread. Around 8:20, passengers started appearing one after another, and in the end, it seemed like some people still couldn't get on the bus. What was special about this bus was that you could pay directly with a credit card (cashless trial operation), and there were foldable seats in the middle aisle.
Komatsu Airport
There were already quite a few passengers waiting to check in. Since there was no line at the business class counter, the ground staff let Nana check in thereāthis was the closest we ever got to business class. After checking in, we browsed around the airport shops and bought some extra small gifts for Yaya. After everything was settled, we discovered the flight was delayed by about an hour.
Taoyuan Airport
We took out the freeze-dried rice we'd bought at Montbell and asked the counter if there would be any problems bringing it through customs. The answer was "instant noodles are fine."
We took a bus to Songshan Airport, then transferred to the MRT to go home. On the bus, we reflected that "Taiwan is both free and loose" š¤£.
